Structure and dispersion of exciton-trion-polaritons in two-dimensional materials: Experiments and theory

چکیده

The nature of trions and their interaction with light has remained a puzzle. composition dispersion polaritons involving provide insights into this Trions excitons in doped two-dimensional (2D) materials are not independent excitations but strongly coupled as result Coulomb interactions. When 2D also inside an optical waveguide, the resulting polariton states coherent superpositions exciton, trion, photon states. We realize these exciton-trion-polaritons by coupling electron-doped monolayer material ${\mathrm{MoSe}}_{2}$ to mode photonic crystal waveguide. Our theoretical model, based on many-body description polaritons, reproduces measured energy band Rabi splittings excellent accuracy. work sheds structure trion indirect mechanism which they interact light.
